Note
The OEM Install Section of ABCPY.INI allows you to control the behavior of the installation including what dialogs are displayed, default responses and shortcut placement. Key names are documented in the paper, "Extending the Adobe Installer on Windows Platform" available below. Key names starting with "Display" can be used to control what dialogs appear by specifying "Yes" or "No" for each. Below is an example of the OEM section of the ABCPY.INI file, again see the document below for what each key name controls and valid values you may specify.

Note
Yes, there is an enterprise tool - Acrobat Enterprise Installation Tool v1.2 located at
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=1272

It doesn’t however give the options to turn off the icons & make other modifications such as automatically accepting the EULA or turning off the autoupdater. These however can be added manually in the Abcpy.ini under [Comp1 BlindCopy] by adding additional numerically progressive entries - here is what I use for the auto-eula agreement (that way it doesn’t stop you to agree to it the 1st time it is opened, really annoying if you ask me -

Group1RegEntry5Platform=All
Group1RegEntry5Parentkey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Group1RegEntry5Key=SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\5.0\AdobeViewer
Group1RegEntry5ValueName=EULA
Group1RegEntry5ValueType=Number
Group1RegEntry5ValueData=1

In fact any registry entry you want to define before acrobat is ever opened up in the first place can be defined here.
