K1000 software : Unable to upload zipped file
Hi,
I'm following this ITninja doc for Office 2013 Pro Plus deployment via K1000 trial version. http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/deploying-office-2013-managed-install
Managed to auto add Office 2013 Pro Plus into the software inventory. But do not have luck to upload the Office2013ProPlus.zip file --- the operation keep timing out.
We would like to try the K1000 software deployment feature, is there a workaround?
Thanks

How large is your zip file? If it is more than 2GB then the browser won't upload it. Instead mount the client_drop share and place the file there. Once the file is on the share you can select it from the dropdown menu on the software title page.
Here's a KB article on accessing the SAMBA shares:

The zipped file is >2GB.
After enabled the shared and set a password. Error when try to map the drive:
C:\>net use k: \\UVO11F3AZ54P9SEL9SO\clientdrop /user:admin password
System error 53 has occurred.
The network path was not found.
and try
C:\>net use k: \\k1000\clientdrop /user:admin password
System error 53 has occurred.
The network path was not found.
p/s: nothing map to K drive.
Is the network path correct? try manual mapping drive no luck too. - sslang 8 years ago-
Is that really the hostname of your KBox? Can you open \\UVO11F3AZ54P9SEL9SO from explorer? If not then try the IP address. There might be an issue with DNS resolution. - chucksteel 8 years ago

this file share path is provided in the K1000 > Security Settings > File share : "File sharing is currently enabled at \UVO11F3AZ54P9SEL9SO\client\. Log in as the user to \\UVO11F3AZ54P9SEL9SO\clientdrop to add file to the file share.
Not, unable to open \\UVO11F3AZ54P9SEL9SO or \\K1000 from explorer. - sslang 8 years ago
