Why when sending an email via a database application does it not generate a ticket?

Why when sending an email via a database application does it not generate a ticket? I am cc'd on the email and I do receive the email but a ticket does not ever get generated in the help desk?

  • Is the email address that the message is coming from allowed to be a submitter in the queue?
