TLS SMTP Inbound not working

We are running version 8.0.320. We have recently switched from an on premise ZIX to a hosted solution and as the SMTP traffic will not longer be purely internal we would like to have it use encryption when sent to Kace. All of the traffic is flowing properly and coming in on Port 25. I have confirmed that SMTP works on port 25. However when encryption is used the emails fail to send in.

In testing when I try to issue the StartTLS command I get the following return.

503 STARTTLS command used when not advertised

The Exim SMTP running on the appliance is configured to allow the use of TLS/Authentication/post on outgoing only.  Incoming is port 25 without TLS.

You want want to look at using POP3 with SSL which is an option for incoming email on the appliance instead of SMTP.

8.0.320 is discontinued support.  Here is the product life cycle KB.
