Running script that runs batch file from zip - black command prompt window - ECHO not displaying

I have a script to install some software that I want to deploy via the scripting tab. Inside the zip is a batch file called "runme.bat", that has a bunch of paramaters and commands in it. If I run it locally on my machine, it displays the ECHO fine - I have a message along the lines of "SOFTWARE X is being Installed. Please do not touch."

...but when I deploy it via script (set to always fail, then remediation to run the batch file from the software), it installs fine - but I see a blank command prompt windows instead of the text I had made.

Any ideas why, and how I can make sure it's displayed? Right now users will only see a black box and will most likely close it.

What Server/agent version? You shouldn't be seeing any black boxes...

open the XML editor for the script and try to change the type from "job" or "policy" to something else. e..g "myscript"
