Patches and HD space

According to the patching settings page on our KBOX patches are using about 175 GB of space. Is there any way to know which patches are using space? I'm only subscribed to the operating systems that we have on campus and the KBOX is only set to download patches that match the labels we have setup. We have labels setup for:
Critical OS Patches
Microsoft Apps (Vendor = Microsoft and is an app)
Adobe Patches
Apple Apps
OS Patches

I'd like to know which labels I can eliminate that will free up the most space, without eliminating too many things from what we would like to patch.

OS X patches are very large in size and suspect they are taking up a majority of your space in the KBOX. I would try the apple apps ans OS patches (mac?) first and see what you remove. The cheaters method is you could set up a fake replication setup in the KBOX and select your windows patches and see what amount of data it would replicate and the select your Mac OS and also look at the space requirements for that. That will give you an idea of which OS patches take up the most space.

You can see what files are taking what space by running some queries.
If you contact support I can give you a spreadsheet you can connect to your kbox to tell you what is taking what, what labels are represented, etc. It's a dog of a query though as it join all forms of patching to labels. I'd love to connect to a customers box and run it (at your permission). It's kind of an app where you can filter it in excel to show you the effect of elminating certain patches. Thus, it can help you create labels.

IIRC, the biggest ones on the list you have are service packs and the adobe cs patches

Thanks for the reply. We decided to eliminate some OS versions that only have a small footprint on campus, which freed up about 50 GBs, so we're fine now, but I'm sure it will come up again. I'll keep the spreadsheet in the back of my head for a future date when I have more time on my hands to take a closer look.
