Owners only notes being sent to end users

When we check the box in a ticket for owners only KACE is still emailing the note to the end user. We are on KACE  v.8.0.320. How do we correct this?

  • Can you verify that you are using a custom ticket rule to send the notification? If so, please post the SQL query part of the rule. - chucksteel 5 years ago

I believe that this has been sorted in version 9.0 but i am not sure.

Also, what happens if you enter the comment, select owners only and then click on Submit?

Might be that the bug occurs when you directly click on Save or Apply Changes in the footer of the page without clicking on Submit in the comment field.

  • hitting the submit button first does not seem to work around this. End user still gets owners only notes. I don't know anything about version 9.0 yet. - bstjoe 5 years ago

Does those comment had attachments with it ?
