I'm a new KACE admin and just got fwded a PRTG report showing a lot of traffic to one of our sites that doesn't have a rep share.

Is there some logging I can look at to figure out what's happening?


PS I also opened a ticket with KACE support.

  • Could be patching, if a lack of rep share is the only difference. If so it's a good reason to set one up.

Patching, Managed Installs, Scripted Installs any of these things could be pushing to your clients.  

Those are the first three things I'd check if I were you.

  • Thanks. Talked to support this morning and we think it's the Patch Detect. He is looking into a way to determine the size of the data xfer when the detect happens. MI is clear and Scripts have only tiny scripts going to all machines. Verified patches are not "leaking" through to these machines.
