KACE Product Support Question

License Expiration

I am not renewing my licensing on my K1 or K2.  Does anyone know, will they continue to function at whatever level they are at now or will they become unusable once their license expires?

  • Is this still true with version 10.0

For KACE SMA (k1):

-You will no longer be able to download new patches (Security Patches)
-You will not be able to apply new updated to the product

For KACE SDA (k2):

-You will not be able to download drivers feeds
-You will not be able to download Workbench tools from support.quest.com

Also you will loose Tech Support for both products

  • So the inventory portion will still work? and did this change in version 10.0.
