K2000 USB imaging issue
Okay so, I've looked this up on several different questions but none of them have a solution that works.
I'm trying to create a USB image for a few devices that we have acquired that do not have Ethernet ports. I have successfully made the boot environment, and copied the image onto the flash drive, but when it goes to image I receive the following error. "Y:\hta\getkuid.vbs The system cannot find the drive specified."
Below are some of the references I've used to help in troubleshooting my issue, but none have helped to this point.
* This link being the most relevant as is seems to be the same issue I'm having. Itried the solution that the Author chose. That is changing the paths on the Tasks.xml script however when I do that I still receive a similar error, only for the new path. I have double checked to make sure that path I'm choosing is correct when it boots on the device.. E: (first available)
I'm just kind of at a loss on how to get this to work currently.
***K2000 version is 4.0.695

I never had much luck imaging from USB myself.
By far the best and easiest way for me to handle devices that want to be problem children is to not use a USB memory stick, but to use a USB ethernet adapter.
Then I can image them just like normal (booting to a PBE on a thumb drive but not the image)
The great thing here is I use a wireless keyboard/mouse the PBE and all that on just one usb port, and when I new new one off computers with a NIC that is not inside my PBE, instead of building a new one, I simply have the usb adapters nic driver in the PBE and do not have to worry about it.
Here is the exact one I use and we bought like 5 of them after it went so well: http://amzn.to/2sN2DIr
