K1000 Pushing Managed Install error -1

Looking to find out why I'm getting this error when i try to push software to one of our PCs with Managed Install option. We've checked all my admin rights and everything seems to be good... Not sure which direction to go from here.... Any help Thanks.

  • Could you please provide a bit more info? What package are you trying to install, how is the MI configured (e.g what arguments or command are you using). Is this behaviour only on a specific system or all systems the MI has ran on? Something is likely going on with the process that runkbot is trying to launch where it's either not being found or being passed arguments it does not like. - Kiyolaka 4 years ago
  • We set up command - cmd.exe /K ""c:\pstools\PsExec.exe" -accepteula \\HOST_NAME "C:\.Program Files (x86)\Quest\KACE\runkbot.exe" 6 0"
In KACE. Other co-workers can run from KACE but i can't. I can run it from CMD myself on my PC not using KACE, but for some reason when i run it from case on a workstation it fails. Same if i run "4 0" argument. It seems to be anything involved with PSTOOLS. - fjensen88 4 years ago
  • Even trying to open just remote CMD.
    "c:\pstools\PsExec.exe" \\KACE_HOST_NAME cmd

    Doesn't work. - fjensen88 4 years ago
  • It seems to be anything that involves using PsExec... I've removed the PStools folder and redownloaded and added it. Still doesn't fix. - fjensen88 4 years ago
