I upgraded to the latest version 8.1.52.  Most of our users uses IE browser and this is our default browser too.  After the upgrade, when I logged in to either admin or user console, I am able to see the left pane but the main/right pane just shows blank.  I tried on Chrome and it works.  

I called support and the tech haughtily told me that this is beyond their scope and they don't support 3rd party browser.  I told him, how can you not support it?  We need the web user interface to be able to use the Kace.  He didn't even do any preliminary questions.  I asked for his manager and he said that he will have him call me back since he couldn't find his number.  And I could go on my rant...

I hope I am not the 1st one to have experience this IE browser issue.  I tested admin and user console in Chrome and it works.  I am able to navigate from the left pane and see the details on the main pane.

We have SSO enabled and have SSL too.
Hostname = hostname.example.com
Webserver = webserver.example.com

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

  • I know it's not much help, but I had never tried to use IE to login before. I went ahead and tried and in my environment it did work ok. I am using 11.431.16299.0 if it helps at all.
  • I fixed this issue on my case. I re-added the SSL cert and it seems to be working now. I noticed that whenever I do a K1 update, my SSL always get messed up.

Have you tried clearing cache? 
Do you see any errors on the browser console ?
What version of IE are you using ?

Yes, I cleared the cache and no errors on the browsers.  We use IE 11.
