How do I get a deployed image on KACE to give the IP address back to the machine?
In terms of deploying an image to a machine, how would I go about giving that machine that the image is being deployed to, the IP address back to the machine?

The IP address it had prior to imaging?
Do you use DHCP reservations? That would seem a good way to force the machines to keep the same address.

Yes we do use DHCP reservation, however I was wanting to see how KACE would be able to do it as well? - bman008 7 years ago

if you are using reservations there is no need. There is no tool to collect and reapply the IP you would need to create a prescript and a post script using netsh commands. This would be a lot of work. search google for "assign ip command line windows" and "collect ip command line windows" - SMal.tmcc 7 years ago
