Extending the Disc space of a virtual k2000

Hi guys.

I have just installed the OVF template for a virtual k2000.

We are going to migrate our physical k2000 to

the virtual one.

Is there any way to extend the disc space of the

virtual k2 beyond what came in the OVF template?

My backup files and database are about the size of

the disc space on the new virtual k2000.

So I need to extend it

I have tried extending the disc space on the VMware,

but it does not reflect in the virtual k2.

I don't want the off-board storage option.

Is there anyway to do this?

Can I expand the allocated disc size when I am installing the

OVF template??? (Is that possible??)

Or is the off-board storage the only option??

Thanks.

The only method on which the appliance can see additional space is to create a virtual disk on the same cluster as the virtual machine. There are still system files left on the original disk for the OVF that was installed, these will remain on that disk and all the customer data (KBE's, Images, Pre/Post tasks, etc...) will be moved to the off-board storage.

The reason being is the appliance is hard coded with the amount of disk space used, even if the disk space is increased the appliance will not be able to recognize the additional space.
