Empty Image
If I am seeing things correctly, I should be able to overlay image deployments over one another in an additive manner, as long as the k-image manifest is empty (or non-overlapping) on all but the first. Has anyone done this?
If so, what is the best way to obtain an empty k-image, to which I would add postinstallation steps to perform, for example, department-specific application installations on top of a generic image deployment.
Of course, if I can do this, the next thing out of my mouth would be an enhancement request to be able to chain from one image deployment to another.
