I am having trouble logging into our k1000 appliance after our college ldap server settings changed. I can log into https://kace.cca.edu/system no problem and there are 2 admin accounts. But I cannot log into the organization at: https://kace.cca.edu/admin with any of the accounts I've used in the past. 

Is there a way to edit the ldap settings in https://kace.cca.edu/system or a way to create a new local user for an organization from https://kace.cca.edu/system?

Does the local admin account work for the ORG? That should always work unless the password was changed for that. 

I would log in with that and double check your LDAP settings for that ORG to see what's maybe been changed there.

  • It does not and that is the core issue. The local admin accounts cannot log into the org, and I don't know why or how to change without being able to access the LDAP settings for the org without being able to log into it.
    • From the console of the appliance you can login with netdiag/netdiag, and there is a command you can run that resets the admin password. Try that and see if that gets you back in.
      • Ok thanks I will try that. But the local admin accts passwords all work to log into system. But when logging into orgs the LDAP auth seems to take precedence. Would reseting the password change that?
