Is there a way to include a checkbox as a custom asset field in the K1000 as none of the pre-defined values (eg: single select, multi select, currency etc) suit our specific requirements? I notice that the checkbox option is available for use in the custom fields within the service desk module for new tickets, but not in the asset module.

K1000 - Version: 6.0.101864

Any advice appreciated.

  • I don't think you can. Even MySQL lists custom fields as text so the setting to edit would be somewhere in the php code which we don't have access to.
  • That's disappointing, I was hopeful there would be a Ninja somewhere that knew a magical workaround for this issue. Thanks
