Default profile is not being copied over after sysprepping with Sysprep Creator Wizard 3.7.2

Hello All,

I'm new to the Dell Kace 1000/2000 environment. Before using Dell Kace, we use to use Symantec Ghost.

I'm in the middle of my Jumpstart training but am already having trouble deploying successfully. I am able to create a Golden Image, Sysprep, Capture and Deploy the image. We are still using Windows 7 64bit Enterprise.

The problem I'm having is that after I sysprep, capture and deploy the image, the default profile does not get copied over. I have joining the domain as a post installation task. When I sign into the computer the first time with a domain credential, all the settings I had setup in the Golden image does not carry over. Things that do not carry over are my custom task bar, the custom quick access toolbar in MSWord, Excel and Outlook, etc.

Any insight on this is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Tien Nguyen

pinned task bar items do not carry over even when you copy the profile to default, you need to spec them in the answer file.  Can you post your answer file the wizard created?

Hello SMal.tmcc,

Thank you for replying. The toolbar I have is not pinned but setup through the C:\Users\user profile\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch.

Here is a copy of my unattended file:
