Crete a report that shows who created the ticket.

I don't see any canned reports that show me who "Created" a ticket. I can see when it was created, who it is assigned to, who is the submitter but that doesn't help me when I need to see how many tickets my help desk team has "Created". When they Create the ticket manually, they then assign it to someone and change the requester to who ever called it in. only way for me to truly see who or how it was created is to go into each one and check the history.

For this you will need to go to the HD_TICKET_CHANGE table rather than the HD_TICKET table.

You can then identify what comments are recorded when the ticket is logged and capture the date stamp for the report.

You will need to be connected to the database via ODBC to really get at this information
