we are currently using Spiceworks but will be moving over to K1000 shortly.

In Spiceworks we installed a plugin which allows us to create different checklists of steps to complete i.e setting up a new computer(see below)

Is there something like this to add to the K1000 Service Desk tickets?

KACE has a similar function.
You can create prodcedures which opens child tickets for working with for each step. You can configure them as you wish.

  • @Wildwolfay, they are referring to processes. Like you, I'd like to be able to create checklists versus spawning several full-blown tickets that are related to the process. That seems awfully cumbersome to generate multiple tickets versus being able to quickly checkoff things that are related tasks to a ticket or process that are required steps and that they have been completed.

    Hopefully someone will follow-up on this thread and let us know.
