Changing service desk default ticket name - something other than TICK


Does anyone know whether it's possible to change the default ticket name from [TICKnnnn] to something based on the queue name?

  • I'm not sure what you mean by "default ticket name". Are you referring to the title of the ticket, or the subject of the email messages sent by the service desk? - chucksteel 2 years ago
  • the ticket number, i guess - they are all numbered/named TICK:nnnn ... it would be helpful if it could be designated as something other than TICK: ....

    example: if i have a queue for monitoring alerts, and a queue for service requests, it would be great if they could be numbered/named as "ALERT:nnnn" and "SerReq:nnnn" ... that's what i mean. - cdmead 2 years ago
