Cannot update k2000 Version

Hello All

I have been trying to upgrade my kace 2000 version with out any luck. It is currently on 3.6.9, and I have tried the automatic update, and have tried downloading and manually updating the system. I have tried installing the next version up from mine, 3.7.1, and it is not working. Can someone point me in the wrong direction?

  • Have you tried a reboot ??
    Does it show an update is available in the settings page (appliance maintenance) ?
    But as SMall said......contact dell support !!

Is there a way to just wipe the k2000 system and restore it to factory?

  • you still would need to contact them to get an install iso to make a boot/install disk from. I have had to do that a long time ago when one of our server techs rebooted our K2 mid upgrade
  • is it out of disk space?

Does it show any errors when you try to update?
There may be multiple issues which can causing this.
iE if you try to use the wrong update package you will get the according error message.
