We have some users who are finding the User Portal list view a little distracting. They only want to list thier "active" tickets by default when they login. I know they can do an advanced search and filter out closed tickets but is there a way to make a default view which only shows active tickets on the User Portal when they login?

  • Through my tinkering I've found that only people with the ability to take ownership of tickets can utilize the Custom views. I would fully expect to get a reply from gillespy guiding you to the Kace USER VOICE where it has been upvoted 200+ times :)
  • Thanks. Everything I've read has indicated the same. Glad to know we're not the only ones who want this.
    • I've been hearing a lot about this summers big patch, which is supposed to contain a TON of user voice features. A real "for the people" patch.

You can direct users to use the /userui url instead of the /user url (e.g. http://kace/userui instead of http://kace/user). This will allow them to perform the search and then bookmark the resulting page.
