Are there scripts for the KBox 1000 to disable Adobe autoupdates in reader, acrobat and flash player?

The pop ups are annoying.

yes, they come down in the patch feed. Makesure to subscribe to the full installer and it will bring down patches that include system management patches to disable update programs.

For Reader and Acrobat you can use the Adobe Customization Wizard to create a custom install which disables prompts for updates.

For Flash I have a script which copies the mms.cfg file described here to workstations:

If you use the patch management section you can patch/upgrade all adobe products to the latest version and also can push the scipt to disable all adobe updates at the same time you push the updates. This also applies to java

  • CEads, I do use patch management with k1000. You mentioned pushing the script to disable all Adobe updates at the same time you push the updates. Can you elaborate on how to do this exactly? Thanks.
