Agent connected but not updating the inventory for more than 3 months

there are few machine around 60+ machines not updating the inventory though agent is connected and some are disconnected..

what could be the reason for this ? I could not find any abnormalities .. re installation only option for this?

  • I'm assuming you tried to Force an Inventory on those machines that are connected correct? I had one the other day that did not inventory for a little over a week then forced it and it went through fine. Other than that I'd say re-install the agent.
  • ok thanks will reinstall, not sure why this occurs in many machines
  • I agree, this drives me nuts when the agent is connected but the only fix is to reinstall. Sometime, rarely the force will bring it back but usually I have to remote in and reinstall. I believe a lot of people have this issue.
