I'm rather new to the KBox and have a few questions about importing users from AD.

We already have a list of users in the kbox, it seems the AD user list was imported along time before me.

If i reimport, will the list clean its self up / sync?  We have alot of users that are no longer in AD that are in the KBox.

Also, can this be schedualed?  Say once a month to clean up the users list?

From what I know the LDAP Import can put people IN the Kbox but cannot REMOVE users.

There is no real system to retire or remove users from the kbox, and apparently it is incredibly frowned upon.  We have a current service desk and we want to import all of our tickets and everything EXCEPT we have a couple hundred users that have submitted tickets but are no longer with the company (or in AD) so I had to manually create the users just so when we imported we could have submitters instead of "UNASSIGNED."

You can adjust your LDAP schedule by going to SETTINGS > USER AUTHENTIFICATION and hitting the EDIT button and clicking on the little clock.  The list will UPDATE any of the user information that you tell it to by settings the parameters within the LDAP import, but if the USER is no longer in AD, KACE will do nothing with the concurrent user in the kbox already.
