About KBE DRIVER PACK

Hi Guys.

I am currently running a windows 7 environment in our

office.

We are thinking of testing the waters with a couple of

Win 10 machines.

My question is, if I upgrade my KBE driver pack to the latest

one that supports windows 10, will it not interfere with my

existing windows 7 environment? Does the KBE also support  win7 ?

Will I be able to run win7 installs with no problems.

Or is the KBE only for win 10 machines??

I need to ask because  this is a production environment

Thanks friends.

you may not need to update the driver pack for the KBE.  It is the winpe environment so just use win10 WADK and upload a new kbe and test that first.  Make a backup of the \\ikbox\drivers\kbe_windows_x64 locally and replace any win10 drivers if needed.  So far the only ones I have added is for Lenovo usb3.0 driver and a couple of dongles.  Just do not delete the old kbe so you can still use it while testing.
