Lanovation Announces Name Change to New Boundary Technologies, Inc.

New name better defines the companyÂ’s expanding software and service offerings

Lanovation®, maker of best-of-breed software solutions for the enterprise network and remote management markets, today announced that it will change its name to New Boundary Technologies, Inc. effective January 1, 2003.

“The name change appropriately reflects our technology evolution in key markets,” said Kim Pearson, president and CEO of New Boundary Technologies. “Since our inception, we have been committed to developing innovative software solutions that bring the benefits of complex emerging technologies to our customers. While we continue to expand our product offerings, we remain committed to providing top quality software solutions that establish new industry standards for ease-of-use and reliability,” he continued. “Our new name better reflects the creative solutions we actually provide.”

The name change is an offspring of the evolution of the company. According to Pearson, “Each of our software solutions breaks the boundaries inherent in the adoption of a new technology, providing the capability to realize its full benefits.” As the pioneer of Windows software deployment over the network, the company currently markets Prism Deploy®, a software utility that allows organizations to rapidly deploy critical software applications to its desktops. While markets for Prism technology continue to expand, New Boundary Technologies creates solutions that simplify complex technology in other key areas as well. The introduction of the Radiem® family is the most recent in the company’s line up. Radiem monitors and controls remote equipment over the Internet.

Over the next two months, the name change will be communicated to both customers and business partners of the company. Although the public face of Lanovation will take on a new look through the New Boundary Technologies name and identity, Pearson maintains their core operating philosophies will not change. “Our ownership and management are not changing. We will continue to focus on providing top quality software solutions with unprecedented support so our customers can quickly benefit from emerging complex technologies,” said Pearson.

The company has been named one of Minnesota’s fastest-growing technology companies in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 Program for the past four years. The company has won several other awards, including the City Business “50 Fastest Growing Private Companies” and “Great Places to Work” awards. Additionally, the company’s software packaging and deployment technology has won 11 industry awards, more than any competitor.
