This software is used in an educational k-12 environment. Wise Packaged Studio 5.5 was used for repackaging this software package.

Do not use Smart Monitor when taking snapshots. After running the initial capture and if running on a machine that doesn't have a built in floppy drive, don’t plug in the USB floppy disk until the software program asks for it. There are regs keys and an .ini file that are written when the USB floppy drive is plugged in.

Next, find the file called tan.ini and change the permissions to the following: NT Authority\System (full); NT Authority\Authenticated Users (modify); [ComputerName]\Administrator (full); [%UserDomain]\Domain Admins (full). Before running final snapshot, need to add in c:\windows\dirdib.drv and c:\windows\macromix.dll and make them read only. These files can be obtained by running the program on another computer and mapping to the c drive and then copying the files into the snapshot computer. This captures the files into the c:\windows location so there aren't any user issues later on by users who are not administrators and don't have rights to install to c:\windows.
