The application came as a msi it installes fine, when i launch the word for the first time it pops up a

The addin(ribbon)appears only if i click install.

I'm pretty sure this is because you need to add the publisher certificate to the Trusted Publishers store. I came across this a while back and it was something to do with signing the manifest or the VSTO file or somthing. Maybe this will help: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms172241.aspx and http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vsto/archive/2009/04/29/signing-and-re-signing-manifests-in-clickonce.aspx

Sorry I can't be more help, it's been a while!
