WinZip Self Extracting setup

Hello,
I am trying to install winzip 8.0 silently for our migration coming up. The only think I have to work with is the winzip self extracting zip file. For the life of me, I cannot find any switches that work, nor can I find where it unpacks the exe to.
Can anyone help me.
Jeff

I have been to both prior to osting and neither have helped me out. I think it is due to the way the vendor gaive winzip to us....

If the Vendor exe does not have any switches to install the software silently, then nothing can be done. You can capture the exe using Wise and then create MSI. MSI will install silently and is easy to handle

A WinZip 8 captures fairly easily with Wise 4.62 and above.

To avoid dealing with that zip file, install WinZip and open the WinZip install file with WinZip. Extract the files. Or, the self extracting zip file unloads into your windows temp directory. Look there, it will be in an obscurely named folder which can be easily found by looking for a very recent date/time stamp. The install is a good 'ol SETUP.EXE that captures nicely to an MSI. The MSI will install silently.
