Windows XP service packs!

I have packaged an applicaiton in windows XP Service pack 2 .Applicaiton is a simple one which just adds some files and registeries to te system.
What are the chances that the applicatiopn would work well on Windows XO service pack 1.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated !

Build a VM/VPC with SP1 and test it. That removes any doubt. If you're not packaging with VMWare or Virtual PC, you're making your job SOOOOO much harder....

Yes you should test (and perform UAT) on the platforms you intend to deploy to.

Chances are your app will be fine on SP1 and SP2 but if you don't test then it's the chance you take.

Cheers,
Rob.
