can someone help me in uninstalling windows media player 10 silently.
I have tried msiexec /x "Product Code" /qn but still no success.
and i have tried C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\Setup_wm.exe\uninstall
I have tried switches like "setup_wm.exe /Q /R:N /P:#e"

But still no success.

Any help folks??

The ways you mentioned should work but... anyhow.

Have u created your WMP package using Enterprise deployment Pack utility? If yes, it should be able to uninstall cleanly, i tried this earlier..

Please feedback if this helps a bit

Source is already a msi, so i need to uninstall it silently without a reboot.

Any suggestions??

...but was it created from the enterprise deployment pack or from a vanilla download?
