Windows 7 Package Problems?

Hello, I am new to packaging on Windows 7 and I had some questions on how to package applications on and for Windows 7. Can any of you on this forum give me some of the "gotcha's" that you face when packaging for Windows 7? Or list the things that you "must" do in order to package on Windows 7?

Any and all information would really help out.

2 things I always do:
  1. Disable UAC when performing a snapshot.
  2. Enable UAC (default level) and launching the install from a system cmd when testing the package.

Try to avoid unsigned drivers. Packaging them is hell, if you get it working at all.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
