Will ASE move to Open Source?

 It would be good to see the editor continue its life within the open source community. Just maintenance and bug fixes would be good thing going forward.

A good question. Unfortunately, releasing as open source is not possible for the Admin Script Editor due to the fact that there are multiple paid, third party controls included at its core. Due to their nature, replacing such components would be a significant effort.

What software are used to build ASE interface? especialy the code generator. I am would like to build one application that have the possibility to generate the code (automate)

  • The primary interface and code handling is done by Actipro SyntaxEditor - http://www.actiprosoftware.com/products/controls/winrt/syntaxeditor the code generators were custom
