Which Microsoft Update just installed Microsoft SkyDrive on my Windows 7 machine?

We are a Windows 7 Enterprise x64 (SP1)/ Office 2010 shop and I'm running the pilots through patching.  My machine happens to be one of the ones on the pilot list that I have pushed through first for a pre-flight check if you will.  Now I have SkyDrive installed and we have no interest for our users to have access to this.  They have hard enough time with a C:\

Anyway, I've looked through the patch list and cannot find anything obvious.  I googled SkyDrive windows update and had no success.  I REALLY dont want this being pushed out, much less have to go behind it and remove it after the fact.  Like everyone else.... Aint nobody got time for dat!

There are skydrive updates in the patch feed. Go to Security > Patching > Subscription Settings. See if you have "Include Software Installers" checked. This can cause applications to deploy to machines that don't have it installed beforehand - rather than just an update to machines that already have said software. And cause your life to be a living hell. Click the question mark for a better description...

  • Negative - The box is not checked. We have patch labels specifically setup for W7 MS App and another for W7 OS.

There are 2 updates in W7 App containing "Sky" but both were already listed as Disabled:
Update for Microsoft SkyDrive Pro 32-Bit Edition (KB2817622)
Update for Microsoft SkyDrive Pro 64-Bit Edition (KB2817622)

Interestingly enough, this is the Supersedes list for x64:
Update for Microsoft SkyDrive Pro 64-Bit Edition (KB2817469)
Update for Microsoft SkyDrive Pro 64-Bit Edition (KB2810019)
Update for Microsoft SkyDrive Pro 64-Bit Edition (KB2768356)
Update for Microsoft SkyDrive Pro 64-Bit Edition (KB2767865)
Update for Microsoft SharePoint Workspace 2013 64-Bit Edition (KB2760358)

On K1000 my laptop has NO mention of SkyDrive on there anywhere, not Installed Programs nor Installed Patches via Inventory but it sure is making itself at home on the hard drive and add/remove programs. I have Forced Update successfully multiple times.

I appreciate the assistance and look forward to trying any suggestions. - tsfr 10 years ago
