Want to deploy the package immediately
I am doing testing on deploying SP2 via MSI, on a virtual machine. After I assign the computer to the OU were the App is assigned via GP, it can take up to 3-4 hours before SP2 kicks off and starts to install. How can i make it so the Deployed app starts immediately or asap.
Also, on a seperate subject, I have heard that SP2 can crash if certain addware is on the machine, but can't find out what? Deploying Spybot via GP has crashed 2 of my systems (they already had adware on them) when installed with an msi, so I would like to do an SMS search on my domain for the effected systems (systems with the adware that will crash SP2), and then handle them one at a time, but I can't seem to find the files that are the problem and need to be searched for.
Any help I can get would be greatly apprechiated.

I've tested an SP2 deplyment via an MSI in the AD. I have doent it now on 3 machines (everything from 733mhz to 2.2). It took about 25 minutes on our 100mbit machines. To kick it off imediatly, just get all your servers to Sync (ie sites & services, right click on the repliction parterns and click replicate now). Takes about 2 min to kick in (based on 4 Domain Controlers)
Hope this helps
