Urgent.:regarding registries in windows 7

Hi,

when i install the msi applicaiton in win7 i am not able to find the application related registry keys ,i tried the same using picture taker , in picture taker i am able to seee the registry keys getting installed in win7 machine.
so can any one please tell me what would be the reason behind this..

Remember that Vista/W7 have separate paths depending on whether the host OS is running 32-bit or 64-bit. See here for details.

hi i am adding a key under " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags" through msi ,which is not reflected in win7 machine.

2. Saying "Windows 7" is not enough. Is it running in 32-bit or 64-bit mode?
