I am trying to uninstall a program via sms2003. The program is called smartdraw. It was not installed with SMS. There is and uninstall file on all the PC's that have this program called unwise.exe. I identified the uninstall string in the registry, C:\PROGRA~1\SMARTD~1\UNWISE.EXE C:\PROGRA~1\SMARTD~1\INSTALL.LOG. I can run this locally and it works. I have created a package in SMS putting the above string in the command line. When I sent out the package I could see unwise.exe running in the processes on the PC but nothing happened. I just sat there for ages. I then tried sending it out as a .bat file same problem, i also tried to send it as a .exe still no luck. I expected this to be more straight forward, all I need to do is kick off an uninstall on a number of PC's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
