SMS 2K3 - Exceeds max run time on some clients
Using SMS2K3, I am deploying an msi-based installation pkg to servers.
Mandatory advertisement, max run time is 120 mins.
Command line on the program launches a .wsf file that contains the msiexec command line - using qb!, so no user interaction or completed ok button.
Runs fine on about 95% of the servers - finishes usually within a couple mins of the program starting.
The other 5% are exceeding the max run time. A closer look shows the program is starting, but nothing seems to happen thereafter. Nothing in event logs, no script errors, remote desktop to the servers in console mode shows nothing. The last entry in the execmgr log is "raising program started event".
After two hours, it exceeds max run time and thus fails. Any ideas what would cause this, or where else i can look for information?

anyhow, it appears msiexec was launching, in fact, 3 instances were showing in task manager on these servers, but just hung.
