Self repair on current user as well as other user issue

Hi All,

I have captured and converted the setup.exe to Windows installler Msi format using wise package studio 7.0 SP3.

When I install the application installation is successfull,But when I launch the application its doing the self repair for Current user or as well as other user.

Even If I add the active setup with my MSI.but still is asking for the self repair for each time when I launch the application.

Please any one tell me where I am missing ? why is is happen self repair for both the user.

Thanks in advance

Self repair occurs only when any of the keypath of your application is missing.

Try to check which file is missing in your msi..

Create a log for it. It will show you.

Now try to make the file available in the msi....

Look in the Application Event Log for the ‘MsiInstaller’ source entries at the time that the self heal occurred – they will tell you what keypaths are missing & the associated component. Once you know that, examine the component.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
