Product code for MSI and MST
Hi all,
Please anyone tell me if the Product code of a MST and the associated MSI should be the same?
When i created a MST for an MSI,it generated a different Product code.Is this fine?

Keep the same ProductCode.
Sounds weird that the code would be changed,
what product is it and how did you create the transform?

The application i was trying to work on was BusinessObject bus query excel.To mention it is Vendor MSI and Vendor MST.

Hi Disha,
IMHO, the only case, where a transform would change the productcode, would be an instance transform. See:
