problem compressing Onenote files into MSI
i am having problems in compressing MS Onenote into a single MSI.
I am using Wise 5.6 and although the compression does create a new MSI with all files inside, i get a "MSI corrupted" messge during installation.
I then tried converting the MSI to WSI project ( WISE ) and then recompiling back to MSI with cabs compressed inside single MSI, but during compile i get the following message "error opening database for merge module XXXX". SO i am unabe to continue because the error message does not give a ref number or a reason why....
does anyone have some ideas.?

umm, may I suggest that you DON'T modify the original MSI, and create a TRANSFORM instead? [8D]
