I am looking for a "Programmer's reference" type of book on VB Scripting for windows installer objects.
MSDN is good source but it does not have example.
any book that deals with this topic? please suggest !

I don't know of any reference work per-se, but as a start-off point, download the Windows Installer SDK and look at the examples which will be installed into '[INSTALLDIR]Samples\Scripts'

Google CreateObject("WindowsInstaller.Installer") and you should enuf with hits.
