PDF-XChange 3 Pro-Urgent!

Hi ,

I have installed the msi in Windows Vista but PDF-X change 3 pro does not get installed in printers section.
I have tried stopping and starting the Spooler service but still it doesn't get installed.

Also, I have used the command line,
"rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "Test Printer" /f C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange 3 Pro\PrnInst.inf /r "lpt1:" /m "PDF" to install printer (correct me if there is error in the command line), but no way..
Please suggest me

Not sure why your asking this here tbh, have you phoned the vendor to check that v3 is compatible with Vista??????

I never packaged this software but each time I have a similar problem like yours, I look the installation log or .exe in notepad... and look what I found :

The installer is a InnoSetup, uninstallation log is unins000.dat :

So I try PrnInstaller.exe /inst and guess what ? The printer is installed!
PrnInstaller.exe /uninst_prn to uninstall

I try the setting /AsDefault to set as default printer but doesn't work
