Systems Management Question

Patching PCs and Windows Restore Point

05/23/2016 575 views

Dear all,

When setting up patching for systems I was wondering if prior to the patching process whether or not windows does a "create restore point" prior to any changes.  Does Kace initiate this and/or can it be scripted/commanded to do so?

Kind regards in advance

Simon

That depends on which product is performing "the patching process".

RPs can indeed be created from script: check out the built-in "SR" task in Windows Task Scheduler.
