package not getting installed thruough sccm

I have an MSI which is having a shortcut and few files. It is being pushed through SCCM on systems.
However the tool shows the installation was successful but the shortcut is not visible on the machine.
Also, the package works absolutely fine when installed manually.

I have no much idea about deployment tools.
please suggest.

Have you looked for the shortcut in the System user's profile folder, %SystemRoot%\system32\config\systemprofile?

Hey Pehelwan,

In SCCM, please check in any of the systems it got installed in:
Goto System explorer -> Hardware Inventory -> Add/Remove programs whether the application has made an entry. You can also run a query to check if there is an ARP entry getting created and/or the application file/exe getting installed or making an entry.

Hope you find this useful.
