Outlook 2003 Send and Receive Button –
I have created a .MST file using the Custom installation wizard, everything looks good in my upgrade from Office XP except for one thing. When we original set up Office XP we added the Send and Receive button with the drop down list to the standard tool bar. When I run the upgrade and launch Outlook there are now two Send and Receive buttons. I can’t figure out how to get rid of it
If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.
Thanks
Neilp

Try launching Outlook with the /nocustomize qualifier and see if you still see two instances of the Send/Receive button on the toolbar.
Information on the Outlook startup qualifiers may be found here
If you only see one occurrence of the toolbar button then the answer lies with the file outcmd.dat. See http://www.emailaddressmanager.com/outlook/restore-outlook.html for some additional information.
You might want to consider making your upgrade delete any existing outcmd.dat it finds (via a custom action, or similar)
