The install and java scripts embedded in Oracle don't support long file names ie: C:\Program Files\Oracle would have to be rescripted to C:\Progra~1\Oracle (or edit all the references in your package - I used WiseScript) - I have done this and it works fine until you need to update TNSNames which will have the same problem.
