Hi!
I use setacl for this (Execute Program from Installation, Defered - System context, Sycronous - Ignore Exit Code). Use If statements, so it's not executed while uninstallation.
example:
SetACL.exe -on "c:\test" -ot file -actn ace -ace "n:S-1-5-32-545;p:change;s:y"
We tried many other tools, eg. cacls.exe (no sid support), subinacl (damages inheritance), xcalcs or security databases (no sid support), but this is the tool of our choise.
